Synchronous Art Therapy Group-Virtual

A synchronous virtual art therapy group for adult healthcare professionals, teachers, and support staff.  Meeting Times: 3 consecutive Sundays 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm- $225.00 per person. Choose from 3 different set of dates, APRIL, or MAY, or JUNE.

This is a Synchronous virtual Art Therapy closed group for adults to; create art, share their personal art making experience, and inspire one another. The intention of the group is to provide individuals of similar professions access to a group that provides a space to share their story from the past year. Focus of this series is to restore and rejuvenate the human spirit through art making exercises, foster relaxation, rekindle the creative self, and provide a space for social connection with other adults.  This group is facilitated by Susan Riedl LCMHC, ATR  who will guide participants: in the weekly meeting discussions, in the art demonstrations and art prompts, offer mindfulness techniques to increase self awareness and relaxation, and launch the weekly assignments. As part of the Restorative Connections: Art Therapy Series, each registered participant will receive a welcome package with a box of art supplies and instructions. No previous art experience is needed, and participants can expect to spend as little as 10 minutes a day on the assignments. Basic Art making techniques will be demonstrated during the virtual meeting times through Zoom Pro. This group is not designed to be individual therapy. 

To ensure participants receive their kit in a timely manner, registration and full payment must be received 7-days prior to the first meeting time.  Materials in the kit include: a mini-single use-Watercolor paint palette and paintbrush, 3- gel pens, a cotton ball, glue, craft tape, 12- colored pencils,  a variety of multi-use paper, 2- prepaid envelopes, a personal journal, 1 flameless candle,1 lavender sachet, 3 envelopes with instructions and art prompts, and one special bonus gift.  Please be sure to open your kit with care, and read the instructions carefully.
